Introduction into R & D and Industrialization in Microfluidics of  Shanghai Wenhao Chip Technology Co., Ltd.

 

The mission of Shanghai Wenchang chip technology Co., Ltd. is on the R & D and Industrialization of microfluidic chips, and to provide a series of microfluidic products and relevant services, especially those one-stop microfluidic analytical techniques, namely:

1.       Design and fabrication of microfluidic chips,

2.       Surrounding equipments so as to make microfluidic chips functionalized properly,

3.       Equipments which are used to fabricate, control and test microfluidic chips,

4.       Microfluidic chip-based analytical techniques and instrumentations.

 

1.Design and fabrication of microfluidic chips

Our services include design and fabricate microfluidic chips according to clients’ requirements. We can fabricate polymer-based (PDMS, PMMA, PC, etc.), glass-based and metal-based microfluidic chips. Furthermore, we can process more complicated microfluidic chips, including large-sized PMMA chips, microfluidic chips with electrodes, multiple-layer chips, chips with multiple functionalized units. Additionally, we have developed high-efficient, low-cost and batch-mode techniques for the production of microfluidic chips (PMMA and PDMS), providing a solid foundation for the promotion of microfluidic chip based analytical techniques.

 

2.Surrounding equipments so as to make microfluidic chips functionalized properly

We have developed a series of joints, catheters, clamps and other accessories, which makes the manipulation of microfluidic chips more convenient. Besides, we have also developed microfluidic chip hand-held or desktop punch, cutter, microscopy platform for microfluidic chip observation and microfluidic chip temperature heating panels.

 

3.Equipments which are used to fabricate, control and test microfluidic chips

The equipments which are used to fabricate, control and test microfluidic chips are of great significance to fabricate microfluidic chips and make them functionalized properly. Therefore, we have developed a series of instruments by optimization of operational techniques or making the fluid control more convenient for clients. Additionally, we have developed Spectrum detector for microfluidic chips. 

 

4.microfluidic chip-based analytical techniques and instrumentations

We have developed both hand-held and integrated analytical instrumentations, which can be used in the areas of environmental protection, food safety and medical diagnostics.

  • real-time water quality testing equipment;
  • air quality monitoring equipment;
  • excessive food substances monitoring equipment;
  •  food heavy metal detection equipment;
  • blood trace detection equipment;
  • biochemical markers detection equipment.

 

 

We have already built a multi-functionalized R&D production centre. We have set up three production lines for massive microfluidic chips fabrication, including CNC machine tool,  soft lithography and mask lithography, enabling us to fabricate microfluidic chips using all kinds of materials, namely, glass, quartz, silicone, PDMS and PMMA.
